Letter 1784 May 3, London to Robert Edmeston, Berwick / Thos. Forbes.

Britain's surrender of Florida to Spain deprived the author, a Loyalist and a merchant in East Florida for a British firm, of his lands. He asks if Edmeston's brother-in-law, who knew influential Spaniards, could intercede for him, since his knowledge of the Florida Indian tribes could be of service to Spain.
